Trim your wick before each burn – Snip the wick to about ¼ inch before lighting. This helps your candle burn evenly and prevents black soot from forming on the glass.
Allow a full melt pool – On the first burn especially, let the wax melt all the way to the edges of the jar (usually 2-3 hours). This prevents tunneling and ensures you get the full 50-60 hours of burn time.
